Excluded Food & Product Types

To keep The Rooftop Market fresh, vibrant, and complementary to Westfield Newmarket’s existing tenants, some categories are unfortunately excluded. The following food and product types are not permitted at The Rooftop Market, in line with current Westfield Newmarket offerings:

Food Stalls

  • Ice-cream, soft serve, gelato or Acai

  • Bubble tea drinks

  • Pizza – HOWEVER Hungarian-stye “pizza” using flatbread as a base is fine

  • Any type of French fries, including “loaded styles” or “loaded spuds”

  • Asian-style food including rice and noodle dishes, Dim Sum, Pho & poke bowls

  • Korean fried chicken and other Korean style meat & vegetable dishes

  • No Pita, pockets or Shawarma style foods

  • Burgers – Any style of Burgers

  • Tacos / Nachos

  • Sushi

  • Candy floss unless pre-packed

General Stalls

  • No kids’ toys, anime or 3D printed character variations

  • Clothing of most sorts – Shoes, T-shirts, Jackets, Dresses etc

  • Fashion accessories like caps, knock-off handbags, belts, sunglasses, certain types of jewellery etc

  • Mobile Phones, cases, connections, cables screen protectors etc
